Tkach calls for stronger ticket policy
A Norwalk city councilman is questioning the worth of the city’s parking-ticket policy. With the city’s current policy, there’s no real incentive for offenders to pay. “Only after the third ticket that’s not paid will the city boot the car,” Councilman Dwight Tkach said.

Couple Killed in Car Crash Remembered
OSAGE (AP) – Residents of the northern Iowa community of Osage are fondly remembering an elderly couple killed in a traffic accident. The couple, David Dunlop and his wife, Ann, both 79, were killed Tuesday when their vehicle struck a tree in Mitchell County in northern Iowa and overturned in water.
